Ideal for measuring small flow rates in pipelines with a diameter of D.< 150 mm, and it can also measure the flow of corrosive media. When in use, the flowmeter must be installed in a vertical section of the pipe, with the fluid medium flowing from the bottom to the top through the rotor flowmeter.

Installation:

The metal rotor flowmeter is ingeniously crafted as a variable area flow measuring instrument, leveraging the precise measurement of the float position to deliver accurate flow readings.

Boasting a robust all-metal structure coupled with a modular design concept, it presents itself as compact and efficient, with minimal pressure loss. It possesses a remarkable range ratio of 10:1.
This device is celebrated for its straightforward installation and maintenance and is extensively employed across various industries. It thrives even in complex and demanding environments.
Ideal for precise flow and process control, it expertly handles small flow rates, low velocities, and mediums that demand high performance under challenging conditions.

Proper installation is crucial for the seamless operation of the metal rotor flowmeter. Key installation considerations to ensure optimal performance include:

(1) Install the flowmeter vertically, ensuring the fluid being measured flows upward through the instrument. A straight pipe section, five times the diameter of the instrument, should precede and follow the flowmeter. Newly installed pipelines must be flushed clean before the flowmeter's installation to ensure accuracy.

(2) An upstream valve is essential, along with a flow control valve positioned 5 to 10 times the instrument's diameter downstream. For smaller instruments, an upstream filter is recommended. If magnetic materials are present in the medium, a magnetic filter should precede the flowmeter to protect its integrity.

(3) To enable straightforward maintenance and convenient replacement, integrate a bypass pipeline during the instrument's installation.

(4) In scenarios where the medium is particularly contaminated, regular cleaning of the pipes and float is imperative to maintain performance and accuracy.

(5) The metal rotor flowmeter typically offers a measurement accuracy of 1.5. For applications requiring heightened precision, alternative measurement solutions are advisable since the metal tube rotor may not suffice.
