PACKING & SHIPPING
At Shandong Zhongziyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., we are dedicated to ensuring that your ordered IP67 Electromagnetic Flowmeter with High Precision and Threaded Mounting Options is delivered promptly and efficiently. We understand the importance of timely and reliable service, and we strive to meet your requirements with the utmost precision and care. The installation of the IP67 Electromagnetic Flowmeter with High Precision and Threaded Mounting Options by Shandong Zhongziyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. varies based on the site pipeline conditions. Flowmeters that are not equipped with a ball valve must be installed on non-pressurized pipelines, ensuring a seamless and efficient setup.
A precisely cut hole with a diameter of 50 mm should be made in the pipeline. Preparations must include welding a connecting pipe to this opening to ensure a secure installation.
For applications that necessitate uninterrupted flow during loading/unloading or where media overflow is strictly prohibited, a ball valve is essential. This mandates the selection of an insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeter featuring a ball valve structure.
A 50 mm diameter hole should be made in the pipeline, followed by welding a connecting pipe to the opening. This ensures a robust and leak-proof connection.

The straight pipe requirements are 5 times the diameter (5D) upstream and 3 times the diameter (3D) downstream. This configuration guarantees the optimal performance and accuracy of the electromagnetic flowmeter.
The measurement principle of the electromagnetic flowmeter is independent of the flow characteristics, making it a versatile and reliable choice.
If turbulence and vortices are created in the non-measurement areas of the pipeline-such as near elbows, tangential throttling, or partially open shut-off valves upstream-it will not impact the measurement accuracy.
However, steady-state vortices within the measurement area can compromise both the stability and accuracy of readings.
In such cases, specific measures should be implemented to stabilize the flow distribution:
1.2. Pipeline-type Electromagnetic Flowmeter
2.1. Requirements for Straight Sections To counteract the effects of vortices and distorted flow fields, specific straight pipe lengths upstream and downstream are required. This is critical for maintaining measurement accuracy. A flow straightener can also be installed, and it is advisable to avoid positioning near control valves or partially open valves.
2.2. Requirements for Process Pipes The electromagnetic flowmeter has strict requirements for the upstream and downstream process pipes at the installation point to ensure measurement accuracy: a. The inner diameter of these pipes should match that of the sensor, complying with 0.98DN ≤ D ≤ 1.05DN (where DN is the inner diameter of the sensor, and D is the inner diameter of the process pipe). b. The process pipe and sensor must be concentric, with an axial deviation not exceeding 0.05DN.
2.3. Requirements for Bypass Pipes To ensure seamless maintenance of the IP67 Electromagnetic Flowmeter with High Precision and Threaded Mounting Options, installing a bypass pipe is highly recommended. This is especially crucial for applications involving heavily contaminated fluids or instances where cleaning the flowmeter without stopping the fluid flow is necessary. a. Eases the maintenance process of the flowmeter. b. Essential for handling heavily contaminated fluids. c. Facilitates cleaning of the flowmeter while maintaining uninterrupted fluid flow.
3. Installation Requirements for Insertion-Type Electromagnetic Flowmeters
3.1. Requirements for Straight Pipe Sections For optimal performance of the IP67 Electromagnetic Flowmeter, adhere to the following straight pipe section requirements: Inlet straight pipe: Should be at least 10×DN; Outlet straight pipe: Should be at least 5×DN.
3.2. Requirements for Grounding Points To ensure the reliable operation and enhanced measurement accuracy of the IP67 Electromagnetic Flowmeter, it must be free from external parasitic potentials. Proper grounding of the sensor is imperative, with a grounding resistance of less than 10 ohms. (In cases where the metal pipeline is well-grounded, a dedicated grounding device is not required.)
3.3. Requirements for Installation Position Follow the diagram to correctly position the IP67 Electromagnetic Flowmeter for optimal operation.
