The ZY8000 features an integrated diagnostic function, enabling real-time status monitoring. In the event of a fault, the transmitter enters a fault alert mode, outputting alert currents (3.6mA or 22.8mA) and providing control signals for system interlock and SIS safety systems. The LCD display automatically shows an 'Err' message, identifying and analyzing the faulty unit, thus simplifying maintenance, repair, and replacement processes.

The measured pressure is accurately detected through remote
transmission devices, which then relay the information to the transmitter
via oil-filled capillary tubes. This system can effectively measure liquid levels and differential pressure (D/P), making it suitable for high-temperature environments (requiring the transmitter to be situated remotely).
