The ZY8000 features an integrated diagnostic function that continuously monitors its status in real-time. Upon detecting defined fault conditions, the transmitter enters an alert mode, issuing an alert current (3.6mA or 22.8mA) and providing control signals for system interlocks and SIS safety systems. In the event of a fault, the LCD display shows 'Err', automatically diagnosing and displaying the faulty unit, thereby simplifying maintenance, repair, and replacement processes.
