PACKING & SHIPPING
We are committed to delivering your ordered product at the earliest possible date, tailored to your specific requirements, ensuring a seamless and efficient service experience for you.The installation of the electromagnetic flowmeter from Shandong Zhongziyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. is contingent upon site-specific pipeline conditions. Flowmeters that do not feature a ball valve should be installed on non-pressurized pipelines. This non-pressurized installation approach allows for the selection of flowmeters sans ball valves, enhancing operational flexibility.
Prepare to craft a hole with a diameter of 50mm in the pipeline. Subsequent to this, arrangements should be made to weld a connecting pipe to this newly created opening, ensuring a seamless integration.
For scenarios necessitating uninterrupted flow during both loading and unloading phases or where media overflow is strictly prohibited, it is imperative to integrate a ball valve. This calls for the selection of an insertion-type electromagnetic flowmeter equipped with a ball valve structure, assuring optimal performance.
A hole with a diameter of 50mm should be meticulously crafted in the pipeline. Subsequent preparations should be made to weld a connecting pipe to this opening, ensuring robust and reliable performance.

To guarantee precise and accurate measurements, the upstream and downstream sections of the pipeline must adhere to specific standards: 5D upstream and 3D downstream. This ensures the electromagnetic flowmeter operates within its accuracy parameters.
The measurement principle of the electromagnetic flowmeter remains unaffected by the inherent characteristics of the flow, showcasing its advanced and resilient design.
If turbulence and vortices emerge in the non-measurement areas of the pipeline-caused by elements like elbows, tangential throttling, or partially open shut-off valves upstream-they will not compromise measurement accuracy.
However, the presence of steady-state vortices within the measurement area can destabilize and skew measurement accuracy, necessitating corrective measures.
In such instances, it is essential to implement strategies to stabilize the flow distribution effectively:
1.2. Pipeline-type Electromagnetic Flowmeter
2.1. Requirements for Straight Sections To counteract vortices and flow field distortion, specific lengths for the straight pipe sections upstream and downstream of the flowmeter are mandated. Failure to meet these requirements can affect measurement accuracy. Installing a straightener and avoiding proximity to control and partially open valves is also advisable.
2.2. Requirements for Process Pipes The flowmeter's installation point mandates specific upstream and downstream process pipe conditions to ensure measurement accuracy. a. The inner diameter of these pipes should align with the sensor's diameter: 0.98DN ≤ D ≤ 1.05DN (DN = sensor's inner diameter, D = process pipe's inner diameter). b. The process pipe and sensor should be concentric, with an axial deviation not exceeding 0.05DN.
2.3. Requirements for Bypass Pipes To ensure seamless maintenance and optimal performance of the flowmeter, it is highly recommended to install a bypass pipe. For applications involving heavily contaminated fluids or instances where the flowmeter requires cleaning without interrupting flow, a bypass pipe becomes essential. a. Facilitates easy maintenance of the flowmeter. b. Mandatory for processing heavily contaminated fluids. c. Enables cleaning of the flowmeter without halting fluid flow.
3. Installation Requirements for Insertion-Type Electromagnetic Flowmeters
3.1. Requirements for Straight Pipe Sections Inlet/Outlet straight pipe sections are critical for accurate and reliable measurements. The inlet section should be at least 10 times the diameter (≥ 10×DN), and the outlet section should be at least 5 times the diameter (≥ 5×DN).
3.2. Requirements for Grounding Points To ensure the instrument's reliable operation and enhance measurement accuracy, it must remain unaffected by external parasitic potentials. Proper grounding of the sensor is crucial, with grounding resistance maintained below 10 ohms. (If the metal pipeline is adequately grounded, a dedicated grounding device is unnecessary.)
3.3. Requirements for Installation Position as Shown in the Diagram
